This position presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in the Admissions Team within Academic Services. This dedicated team is responsible for the delivery of a high-quality admissions service to applicants, faculties and academic partners.

You will have excellent communication and organisation skills. You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively. You will be patient, organised and adaptable, taking a proactive approach to ensure that you are working efficiently and offering an excellent service to our applicants.

You will develop and maintain key relationships with, and provide information and advice to, academic and administrative staff at the University in relation to admissions and in accordance with the University’s admissions regulations, policies and procedures.

There are annual leave restrictions in December, January and August which are peak periods for the Admissions Team. Some weekend working is required.

This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
