Care Assistant

**£13.50 - £15 per hour, guaranteed hours**

Working as a domiciliary care assistant in Central London, on a guaranteed hours contract, you’ll make a genuine difference to the lives of the people you support. **About the role**:
You will be visiting clients in their own homes, working as a domiciliary carer with a minimum call time of 1 hour.

You will assist with:

- Supporting clients with their personal care
- Supporting with continence management
- Administering medication
- Light housework
- Preparing healthy meals
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
- Supporting clients to pursue their interests and hobbies
- Offering specialised care for people living with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, strokes and other conditions, as well as end of life care

**We’re looking for**:

- A minimum of 6 months’ professional care experience
- Household management skills e.g. cleaning, hoovering and keeping a home tidy
- Ability to work effectively within time allocated
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- IT skills - able to use a computer / laptop and online systems
