We are on the look out for recent psychology graduates who are looking to get into the field of mental health. This is a great charity to work for and the role is for 28 hours a week (You would get one day a week off or five shorter days).
The programme is funded by the NHS and you will be supporting people with secondary care mental health support needs. The individuals will be under supervision of NHS professionals, but are in a position to look for work, which is where you come in.You willbe working across three sites. The base office is at Basingstoke within an NHS Trust. But you might also meet clients at Andover or Winchester (which the service covers), in a community setting such as library or community centre.
You will get lots of autonomy. Previous people working in this role have set up their own podcasts, and created employment links with professional football clubs. They want people who can bring ideas to the table to help their clients.
They are seeking people who have previously worked as a recruitment consultant, employment advisor, careers advisor (or very similar), support worker, HR, human resources, sales, or youth workers. It might be that you have worked in HR, or support work withsome knowledge or experience of careers / employment support. An understanding / passion for supporting people with mental health support needs is essential.
Please note, this role is 28 hours per week. So, the actual salary would be £18, 420 per annum (full time salary at 37 hours would be £24,341). The hours ideally need to be spread over the 5 days (so this could be 10am - 3.30 pm) but there could be some flexibilityaround this.
