Software Tester

We’re looking for a software tester to join our growing team development team to help us deliver the best products to our 180,000 users.

As a SaaS business we have a high volume of users and require a new QA/Software Tester to join our team. You will be part of a tightly knit team of developers to ensure our products are of the very highest level of quality.

We are looking for someone to own this role and put in place test plans to ensure the best results. You will be a strong communicator, and keen to collaborate to deliver incredible results.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Manual testing of all web and app based products which are launched by the business.
- Working with the Project Manager and Developers to ensure requirements are met and our products are defect-free
- Report and log repeat platform defects using our standard defect tracking tool
- Providing regular reports and updates to the team on the progress of testing and tests performed
- Preparing test plans to execute the tests against each software component and demonstrate the business conditions under test and the expected results
- Providing inputs to the development team to improve processes
**Requirements**:

- Experience writing appropriately detailed test plans based on need, functional specifications and complexity
- Ability to perform functional testing of software and record results in an appropriate, clear and concise format
- Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
- Be able to demonstrate attention to detail
- Experience working in a SaaS environment would be an advantage, but not essential

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
