As our **Reinstatement Hotbox Driver**, you'll play a key role in the day to day running of our operation. You will report to a Reinstatement Manager on a daily basis and be a key member of his/her team. We will always recognise your contribution to how well we are doing. Your day will usually start at a local depot where you will pick up the machinery and equipment needed for that day’s work. Working as part of a reinstatement crew you will ensure that people, plant and materials are transported to site ready to set up and start work on schedule. **Your key responsibilities are...** - You will carry out general reinstatement work in line with work instructions and method statements provided to you but we will rely on you to maintain vigilance to identify what else needs to be done to keep the site operating smoothly and efficiently. - Collect, carry and deliver tarmac ensuring it is kept it at the correct temperature. - We will expect you and your colleagues in the reinstatement crew to work in such a way that disruption to the public is minimised and every opportunity to show Zzoomm as a considerate organisation is taken and our reputation is enhanced. - Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition and report any defects to the Reinstatement Manager. - Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use. - Complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment. - Working as part of a team, reinstate excavations and trenches as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard and to the current specifications. - Ensure all operations are carried out to the highest safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions. - Attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required. **Skills, Knowledge, Experience, & Attitude required to do this role**... - In-depth understanding of civils reinstatement practices - Experience in Reinstatement and confident in whitework (reinstating kerbs, slabs, modular sets and block paving, concrete works, flagging and brick paving is essential) - Familiarity with FTTP Network construction - Knowledge of HSEQ, CDM, NSWRA etc. Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS),SEATs, confined space qualifications. - Full UK HGV Driving Licence with no more than 3 points and towing preferred. - Full CPC - Driver Digital Tachograph Card. **Company Benefits...** - Annual Leave - 25 days’ paid holiday plus bank/public holidays - A day off for your birthday - Pension - you pay 4.5% and Zzoomm pays 4.5% into your pension - Life assurance - 4 x basic salary - Health cash plan which allows you to claim money back for the cost of your essential health care plus other benefits including 24/7 access to an online doctor and Exclusive offers and discounts from over 1000 popular retailers - Discretionary bonus scheme Zzoomm provides you with the flexibility to work in a way that will help you grow and develop.
