**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Social Media Management**
- Develop and execute social media strategies to promote theatre events, productions, and initiatives across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Create engaging, on-brand content (e.g., images, videos, blog posts) and manage content calendars.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies to enhance engagement and audience growth.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure social media efforts align with ongoing marketing campaigns.

**Marketing & Promotion**
- Create and distribute promotional materials and ensure all marketing assets reflect the theatre’s brand and tone.
- Help maintain the theatre’s website and ensure content is up-to-date and reflects the latest programming and news.
- Support ticket sales through marketing outreach, including partnerships with local businesses and media outlets.
- Assist with market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and opportunities for growth.

**Customer Service & Audience Engagement**
- Assist in creating a welcoming environment for theatre patrons and ensure they have an enjoyable experience from ticket purchase to post-show feedback.
- Provide assistance with ticketing, issues, seating enquiries, and other general customer service needs.
- Work closely with the theatre manager to ensure seamless communication and service.

**Event Coordination & Support**
- Assist in promoting and supporting special events, fundraisers, and community outreach programs.
- Attend performances and community events as a representative of the theatre, engaging with audiences and gathering feedback.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience in social media management, marketing, or customer service roles. Experience in the arts or theatre industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse audience.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Passionate about the arts and theatre.
- Customer-focused, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Creative and able to think outside the box.
- A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
