We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation that effectively communicates complex information to our audience. You will work closely with various departments to gather information and ensure that all materials are accurate and user-friendly. **Project Overview**

Following a 2024 Risk Architecture review, sponsored by the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), key recommendations were approved for implementation. This project requires temporary support to assist in executing these recommendations effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and refine internal risk documentation, including frameworks, models, policies, and procedures, ensuring clarity, appropriate granularity, and alignment with the overall risk strategy.
- Support Risk, Risk and Compliance (RAC), and 2nd Line of Defence (LoD) teams in structuring documentation effectively.
- Identify relevant regulations and contribute to designing a training and communication plan for impacted stakeholders.
- Validate internal documentation structures and highlight divergences from Group policies.

**Required Experience & Skills**
- Previous experience in banking / financial services.
- Strong knowledge of risk management across multiple domains, including market, liquidity, credit, and non-financial risk.
- Excellent proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with Visio or similar diagramming tools is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
