HSSE Specialist
A global, speciality chemicals manufacturer is looking to bring on-board an experienced Health & Safety professional to join their Site Services Team in what will sure to be an exciting role.
Based on-site and with support from the Site Manager and UK HSSE Leader, you'll be responsible for coordinating many aspects of the site's health and safety programme and will provide technical and administration support for the site's procedures and regulations including OIMS, OSHA, RoSPA and Responsible Care® initiatives.
Your duties include:
- To assist in risk management and ensure compliance with OIMS and regulations including process & operations safety, risk assessment & management of change.
- Act as an OIMS 7.1 System Administrator.
- Provide HSE advice to support facilities and site projects.
- Conduct work processes, operations, practices, PPE assessments, site inspections, regulatory compliance reviews, records and documentation.
- Updating the HSE events/incident database and tracking/analysing trends.
- A NEBOSH certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
- Practical experience of carrying out health and safety in a laboratory and / or workshop focused environment.
