Passiv, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a **Cloud Team Leader** who would like to help us reach our mission of ‘To earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service’.

Passiv produce world-leading solutions for low carbon technologies. Our products optimise the operation of heating systems such as heat pumps across many properties simultaneously, improving their efficiency, enabling renewable energy to be capitalised when it is available, and making energy grids stable and affordable.

**As the Cloud Team Leader** **your key responsibilities are**
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers and developers, fostering a positive work culture, and lead effectively
- Develop Services & Application Programming Interfaces’ (APIs), in a Serverless and Server based cloud Internet of Things (IoT) environment
- Work in close partnership with internal teams ensuring delivery of business goals
- Automate cloud operations and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Help us achieve our goal of adopting test-driven development
- Proactively identify and address potential cloud risks and challenges

**About you**
- Proven experience in design and delivery of AWS based SaaS deployments
- Experience with large-scale data architectures, Microservice and Serverless development and Web UI & App
- Proven track record of leading, coaching and developing a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Believes in agile software development methodology and has used it effectively
- Extensive hands on development experience, with working knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, OOD and Functional Programming concepts.
