Overview:
Our **Team Leaders** here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focused culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.We have a new and exciting opportunity for a **Outreach** **Team** **Leader **supporting areas including Outreach, Hostels, increasing numbers into treatment and Discharge prevention to join our service in **Wirral Ways.** As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work flexibly and creatively to establish what is needed to have the most positive impact for all who are referred to our service.You will supervise a team of front line staff members. You will organise and support with inducting new staff, carry out 1 to 1s, and develop/maintaining partner agency relationships.**Where**: Wirral - Merseyside**Hours**: 37.5 per week**Salary**: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 (dependant on experience)**Contract Type**: Fixed term - 11 months**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles
- Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members
- Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk. Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
- Developing our service offer focusing on outreach, bringing new service users into treatment and supporting those who have disengaged to re-engage them into treatment.
- Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback
- Lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of staff
- Develop further links with other agencies including housing, GPs, and homeless service providers.

**About you**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards
- Significant experience of working within substance misuse and supporting people with complex substance misuse and health conditions, experience of working with people who are homeless and those who have disengaged from treatment and knowledge of outreach and ways to engage with this group.
- Knowledge of current safeguarding procedures.
- Able to lead, inspire and develop a team
