**Hybrid working - 2 days per week in central Brighton**
Tate Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a local authority to recruit for a Project Manager to lead on upcoming transport delivery projects. In this role you will be responsible for delivering real change on the Public Highway and will be workingclosely with project teams, to deliver a range of sustainable transport schemes.
**Other duties include**:
- Working with internal projects teams, consultants and contractors to drive forward change.
- To lead on Active Travel Funded projects, Bus Network improvement projects and Local Enterprise projects altering the Highway Network and the way people travel around the City.
- To be fully responsible for managing the revenue, capital and externally funded budgets within remit
- To lead, manage and co-ordinate inter-departmental and multi-disciplinary project teams working on strategic multi-million-pound projects in Brighton and Hove involving high level discussion and negotiation with planners, solicitors, accountants, privatesector developers and transport operators
- To monitor, review and lead on procurement for contracts to ensure maximum value for money and to continually improve service delivery and outcomes.
**To be considered for this role it is essential you have project management experience in construction and contract management experience.**
