**Role Overview**: As a Junior Coach at DPFC, you will play a crucial role in developing our young players. You will work closely with the Head Coach to deliver engaging and effective training sessions, focusing on skill development, tactical understanding, and fostering a positive attitude towards the game. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring coaches to gain valuable experience, take control of their learning, and positively impact the community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and conducting training sessions for various age groups, ensuring they are fun, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate.
- Provide individual and group coaching to improve players' technical skills, tactical knowledge, and physical fitness.
- Support the Head Coach in organising and managing match days, including team selection, warm-ups, and providing tactical instructions.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive environment that encourages player development and enjoyment of the game.
- Help to identify and nurture talent within the club, providing constructive feedback to players and parents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during training sessions and matches, adhering to the club’s safeguarding policies.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to continually improve coaching skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have an initial coaching badge (such as FA Level 1) or aim to obtain one.
- A passion for football and a desire to help young players develop their skills and love for the game.
- Previous experience playing or coaching football, preferably at a youth level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young players.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching team and follow the guidance of senior coaches.
- A driving license would be beneficial but is not required.

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
