Optical Apprentice

Are you looking for a retail apprenticeship like no other? We are currently looking for an apprentice to join us in store on a 13-month programme where you will graduate with a level 3 in Optical Retail. As one of our apprentices we will give you all the training and support you need.

**What can you expect from the role?**

The role of an optical apprentice offers more responsibility and involvement than your normal retail apprenticeship. At Vision Express we win together, so all our colleagues have a role to play in making our customers feel special, from a warm welcome, through to help with selecting the right products for their needs.

The beauty of this role is that no two days are ever the same. With the support of your store manager and our in-house apprenticeship team we will give you all the tools you need to support your development throughout the program. You will get involved in bringing our brand to life, learning how select the right products for our customer's needs and providing them with a tailored experience.

**About you**

To join our apprenticeship programme, you will need:

- To be at least 16 years of age
- To not be in full or part-time education

Due to the nature of the programme, if you have previous optical experience, this role wouldn’t be suitable for you. However, please do check our retail optical assistant opportunities if this is the case
