As an **Associate Insights Director**,** **you will work across a range of sectors with a **particular focus in healthcare congress and events**, helping clients and teams to derive insights from data and better understand their business impact.

You will have a passion for building client relationships, working in a highly collaborative environment with specialist talent in primary healthcare market research, data analytics and insight generation.

Alongside helping to grow the research and insights capability across the group, with a focus on expanding our insights offering in the events space, a key component of this role will be developing a thought leadership capability to cement the company’s prowess in the area.

This role will be supported and mentored by our Insights Director, working closely with WRG (our event specialists) and in collaboration with Axiom (the strategic healthcare communications agency within TCEG).

**Location**

You will be joining our Manchester office, with the opportunity to work flexibly between both the office and from home.

**What you’ll be doing**:
As we build the Insights team, no 2 days will be the same. However, key activities you can expect in this role will include:

- **Leading analytics, research and insight projects and business leads**; introducing and communicating research methodologies and analytic services to internal teams and clients. Advising on the creation and execution of effective approaches to uncover insights (e.g. quantitative and qualitative research)
- **Analysis and insight reporting**; translating data and evidence into insightful and engaging outputs, with a mix of both primary and secondary research
- **Fostering excellent research and insight execution**; driving excellence from the brief through to proposal and delivery, being highly communicative and encouraging of positive teamworking to deliver high-quality work
- **Project management**; creating, communicating and managing timelines and budgets, effectively engaging and managing client and agency workstreams and ensuring milestones are met
- **Client relationship management**;** **being able to listen and question effectively, creating personalised and flexible styles of communication to meet the client’s personality and
preferred methods to build strong, trusting and lasting relationships
- **Delivering business insight**; producing white papers, articles and social media content to build a thought leadership position in the healthcare landscape. Involvement in desk research for pitches and proposals
- **Supporting with training**;** **providing updates on the healthcare landscape to teams across the company to learn about and better understand the area
- **Fostering a fun and nurturing team environment**; ensuring clarity, maintaining a positive and practical attitude, managing failures with a learning mindset and encouragement, and sharing
and recognising individual and team successes

**Requirements**:

- have a minimum of 4 years of healthcare market research agency experience (currently an established Senior Research Manager/Associate Director, or equivalent role)
- have some experience within the congress/events space
- have qualitative and quantitative experience
- have experience in primary and secondary research
- have expertise across various market research methodologies
- be able to translate data and evidence into insightful and engaging outputs
- be a skilled moderator
- be confident in liaising directly with clients and managing projects through delivery
- have a proactive attitude
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail
- be skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Analytics
- have excellent organisational skills for self-organisation and team organisation
- have the ability to thrive independently and in a team environment
- be confident in handling multiple and changing projects, tasks, priorities and tight deadlines
- be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate healthcare and research codes and compliance activity/behaviours
