Samuel and Ernest Jones, we’re accelerating our evolution to a Digital First Retailer by changing how we interact and support our Customers in this new retail landscape.We now have an exciting opportunityavailable for an Assistant Trading Manager within our Digital Team located in Croxley Park, Watford. Reporting into the Online Trading Manager, you'll be the lead on delivering an engaging shopping experience for Watches on the Ernest Jones website.

Supporting the full optimisation of the Customer journey online, you'll develop a deliver a commercial website content plan, aligned to the business trading plan to drive Watch sales online as well as in Store. **Typical duties**:

- Own and coordinate the website content plan for watches, ensuring visibility across the site for brand/product in line with the trade plan for maximum engagement and in order to achieve the budgeted sales targets
- Produce weekly trading reporting on (but not limited to) banner, search, page, and product performance, virtual and in store appointments for weekly trading meetings.
- Coordinate the overall content plan and ensure delivery
- Be the lead user of trading tools including Content Square to monitor, report on and improve content performance
- Become the lead user of our search & merch and product recommendation AI tools, working on automated solutions, A/B testing, personalisation and building insight/ reporting.
- Act as the main point of contact for the CRM, Digital Marketing and UX teams to ensure all teams are aware of new watch launches, campaign activity and key focus areas

**Are you the perfect fit?**
- Proven experience in project and task management
- Analytically minded with strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Stakeholder management, cross functionally
- Demonstrable working knowledge of merchandising processes, procedures, and systems
- Commercially aware with a sales focus to maximise conversion and cross-selling.
- Customer focused and data centric
- Experienced in Advanced Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables, V-look ups, SUMIF statements
- Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and Product Information Management (PIM)
- Working knowledge of analytics systems such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of trading tools such as Content Square, Syte are desired but not essential
