We are looking for PR and Media Officer** **to join our friendly and welcoming team here at Hft (for a fixed term role). This is your chance to make a real difference to people's lives.

**What will you be doing?**

Working as part of the Brand, Communications and Marketing Team, you will support the PR and Media Manager in the generation of content and execution of PR strategies to raise awareness in the media of the charity’s work.

You will support the team’s strategic objectives and content generation strategy through the generation and repurposing of content across the charity’s external channels (including for Fundraising and Policy and Public Affairs influencing work).

You will also develop a network of contacts to source new story leads and build strong relationships across our care and support teams, identifying gaps in our content and developing processes to ensure we have a regular pipeline of content and case studies.

**About You?**

You will have experience in a communications role and have the ability to identify a story and write compelling and engaging copy across a broad spectrum eg blogs, press releases, digital copy, etc.

You will be someone who has proven experience of working collaboratively with a range of people across an organisation and be able to identify trends and engagement opportunities in the wider sector.

You will also have excellent interview techniques and be able to get to the heart of a story.
