**Main Responsibilities**:

- Printing operational job packs (Packaging specifications, labels & QMS documentation). in line with a production plan, reviewing, logging completion and scanning/archiving records.
- Producing, amending & printing in house barcodes/ case labels.
- Issue WO's for processing & batch production records.
- Down stock raw materials / products following QC release.
- Manage receipt/filing certificates of analysis, Allergen Declarations etc. for incoming raw materials & controlling, monitoring expiry dates.
- Assign product batch numbers for quantities required for production plan.
- Producing, amending packing specifications & bill of materials.
- Carry out internal audits against standards (BRCGS / ISO9001) with the sites internal audit team
- Assist with NCR's (Customer & Supplier Complaints), support with corrective & preventative actions.
- Monitoring & checking of production records
- Support & monitor QMS providing assistance to the Quality Manager.
- Actively monitor & promote company & quality standards across site.
- Independently carry out quality inspections periodically of products during production & raise any concerns accordingly.
- Provide basic holiday cover to the laboratory during periods of absence, which includes carrying out basic blend QC testing. All training will be provided - no prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and support the team is essential.

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- Experience within FMCG quality role in a regulated environment e.g. ISO, BRCGS etc.
- Must be dynamic and possess the ability to multi-task to work in fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Understand production commitments, timescales and processes.
- Methodical, process & quality driven.
- Enthusiasm & commitment to deliver initiatives & continuous improvement programs.
- Excellent timekeeping and workload organisation.
- Qualified Internal Auditor (Desirable).
- Knowledge, understanding of GMP (Desirable).
- Experience with the following software Microsoft office (word, excel), SAGE is desirable
- Must be a strong administrator with excellent attention to detail, able to move at speed and comfortable with variety - this role is not suited to someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. High proficiency with IT systems is essential.
- We are looking for a robust character who can confidently enforce quality standards on the shop floor in a challenging environment.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
