**The role**:
We are looking for a part time Events Assistant who is highly motivated and organsied to come and join a small team. As the Event Assistant you will assist the team and work under the Operation Manager assisting with the organisation and delivery of events. This role is an exciting opportunity to extend your event management skills working within a fast-paced environment.

We are offering a rate of £10.50 per hour on a weekly basis of 18 hours per week with the opportunity to extend the role. This is an office based position in our office in Cardiff, with the occasional opportunity to work from home. However, you may be expected to travel to event locations for certain events to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Event planning, oversight and management
- Finding suppliers and liaising with suppliers
- Communicating and coordinating with food vendors
- Maintain documentation and paperwork for each event
- Event listings
- Daily administrative duties
- Help with set up and pack down of the events

Skills required:

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Great time management skills
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Able to organisation and prioritise workloads
- Experience working in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- An interest in food and events industry
