HPE Technology Consultant

The Oho Group is partnered with a corporation, and we are now looking for HPC Technology Consultant to join the team. This job, which specialises on High Performance Computing (HPC), provides extensive exposure to Linux, High Speed Networks, and Parallel filesystems.

The post holder will be a member of a team that delivers new customer solutions in hardware and software, upgrades existing installations, and provides additional L3 escalation solution assistance for critical HPC challenges.

A bit about your role and responsibilities:
liable for implementing all or a portion of the technical solution for the client in accordance with the agreed-upon technical design and Statement of Work

Cooperates closely with coworkers while being directed by the project/technical and delivery managers, as well as client representatives.

Often in charge of modest to medium technical tasks. to lead high-level implementations in the future.

Consults with Solutions Architect as necessary on the technical project specifics

For escalations involving HPC customers, offers L3 technical support.

Contributes to internal knowledge tools and sees to it that project learnings are shared and recorded.

works closely in a technical advising capacity on upcoming project activities with HPC Sales and Pre-Sales divisions.

**About You**:

- Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a computer science or related discipline.
- An in-depth working knowledge of Linux, with 5+ years of Linux/UNIX deployment, configuration and troubleshooting experience and at least 3 years of HPC experience are required.
- The ability to perform hardware repairs on large scale compute and storage components are mandatory requirements, Industry standard server hardware deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
- Networking experience (Ethernet, TCP/IP, InfiniBand, Omnipath, etc) deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
- Storage hardware (RAID) deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
- Cluster file system knowledge would be advantageous (Lustre, GPFS)
- HPC Cluster Management knowledge would be advantageous
- HPC job scheduler knowledge would be advantageous (PBS, Slurm etc.)
- Scripting ability advantageous
- Previous experience in customer facing roles.
- Technical Account Management / Escalation Management Skills
- Willingness to travel at short notice across EMEA to complete delivery / escalation tasks.
