Job title **Sustainability Co-ordinator responsible for supporting sustainability services, projects and initiatives at Conference Care**

Personal

Specification Must be Graduate in BSc/MSc Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences or similar STEM degree
Must have strong data processing skills and have proven track record of analysis of data to draw conclusions
Must have genuine interest in sustainability issues
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Experience in events or hospitality preferred but not essential
Prepared to grow into role and undertake training to develop skills

Purpose

1. Provide sustainability consultancy through our award-winning Carbon Consultancy service

2. Build a strong working knowledge of sustainable venues and suppliers

3. Support the development and delivery of our Venues for Good programme

4. Support the delivery of strategic sustainability measures in Conference Care

5. Research and communicate sustainability concepts to clients, event attendees and the Conference Care team

How

1. Work with the sales, operations and events teams to respond to customer enquiries and manage customer communications. Prepare proposals and process activity through our customer management tools - Book-it and Salesforce.

Support onboarding of Carbon Consultancy clients

Manage data collection, input data into the carbon calculator and prepare interim and final reports.

2. Process all Carbon Consultancy projects in Book-it

3. Support the team in building a database of sustainable suppliers.

As a member of Plan-it Team, introduce new ideas and lead on a variety of projects.

5. Support our B-Corp accreditation process.

Attend sustainability webinars and networking events, to share ideas and best practise back to Conference Care.

Support the creation of digital media campaigns, promoting sustainability to customers and the wider industry.

Measurement Indicators of success will be:
1. Financial performance of Carbon Consultancy

Working pattern - Mon-Fri 09.00-17.30
