The Society of Radiographers has an exciting opportunity to join our team of National and Regional Officers. We are looking for a positive and knowledgeable leader with the skills, capacity and enthusiasm to influence and lead on all aspects of industrialrelations and professional practice across Northern Ireland.
**National Officer Responsibilities**:
The National Officer will proactively promote health policies, professional development and standards in Northern Ireland that benefit members in ways that encourage their wider engagement. This role will also take the lead to seek full Representative coverageacross member workplaces in Northern Ireland and advise, support and coach our team of local Representatives in their work supporting SoR members.
This role has the important responsibility for influencing national Health policy and outcomes for SoR members by making representations to employers and wider stakeholders.
The role allows a high degree of flexibility and will be home based, and as a National role there will be a requirement for travel, including some overnight stays away from home.
**National Officer Requirements**:
As well as a broad understanding of health and social care policy, as this is a specialised role, you will be a HCPC / CORU registered radiographer. You will have experience of campaigning and industrial relations, including a working understanding of key employmentlaw and regulations along with experience of industrial relations case management. You will also have an understanding of how to champion equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and why this work is so important.

**Salary**: £52,790 per annum plus home working allowance £902 per annum
