We are a specialist Contract Electronics Manufacturer, serving world-class customers in high-reliability industries by providing a complete set of electronics design and manufacturing solutions in both printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and full box-buildmanufacturing.

We are currently looking for a Stores Person with a counterbalance forklift licence to join our stores team.

In our Stores and Despatch department, they are responsible for all material handling activities, maintaining stock activity, and ensuring all material are stored correctly.

As Stores Person, you will receipt in goods from suppliers & customers and maintain document control of receipts. To provide material handling activities as deemed necessary by the company to support production throughput.

**The Stores Person role will involve**:

- Unloading and loading of vehicles, using a forklift truck when appropriate
- Receiving inbound materials, verifying accuracy against paperwork, visually checking for damage, and updating receipts in company system (Epicor)
- Ensuring materials are stored as per Company policy and processes
- Liaising across departments to address any material receipts issues or queries
- Processing customer returns and notifying relevant stakeholders
- Maintaining stock accuracy and traceability
- Ensuring job handling as per Company processes and procedures
- Manual handling/lifting are an essential part of this role

**For this role you will need**:

- Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
- Previous experience of a Goods-Inwards/warehouse environment
- Previous experience of MRP system and Microsoft Office packages
- High attention to detail and accuracy, high concentration levels
- Physical fitness as Manual handling/lifting are an essential part of this role
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Able to respond to changes in demand and meet tight deadlines

You will be liaising across departments addressing any relative stock queries or issues and ensuring job handling as per Company processes and procedures.

This role involves manual lifting and handling.

You will need previous experience of a warehouse environment, along with MRP system and Microsoft Office packages experience.

You will also need a high attention to detail and accuracy, high concentration levels and excellent level of dexterity.
