Field Operative/tractor Driver

We are looking to recruit an experienced tractor driver to join our team on the umbilical spreading operation. The job requires diligence in the recycling of Organic Waste (Digestate) from Aerobic digesters delivered by HGV tankers to field sites and spread umbilically onto agricultural land in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner whilst providing a first-class service to the company and its clients the farmers. The job will be based primarily to the north of the Kidderminster, Stourbridge area but is a mobile site with occasional travel down to our base in Gloucestershire so we are looking for somebody who is happy to travel from site to site to provide support to our existing spreading team wherever it is needed.

We run modern and high spec machinery, which is currently made up of Valtra T174 with GPS, 12 meter Tramspread dribble bar, Vredo 24m Self-propelled tanker, Storth & AW Nurse tanks and Tramspread pump trailers and Reelers.

We would like to see the following qualities:

- Good communication, Liaising and working within a spreading operation team.
- A safe operator with a desire to look after and maintain machinery, including ability to carry out daily visual checks and regular inspections
- A duty of care to ensure the company van and field sites are kept and left in an acceptable and tidy state.
- To show own initiative, for example overcoming challenges such as machinery breakdowns or maintenance and pipe repairs.
- Precise when completing all relevant paperwork accurately.
- Always wearing correct PPE when representing the company on customers’ sites and field sites.
- All duties to be completed in line with N-Virocycle policies and procedures as laid out in the Company Management System PAS99:2012

Competitive salary, company van, uniform, phone and training will be provided and basic set of work tools.
