Description: Duncan Private Hire (formally Leszan Travel) is a company that over the last 14 years has dedicated itself to providing private hire, specialist Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) and 8 seat minibuses to clients who, need to travel in wheelchairs, clients with special needs and, clients who are elderly or infirm.

A superb and exciting opportunity has arisen that allows Duncan's to not just grow in size but, to expand the area in which it currently operates. As a result, Duncan's are now recruiting drivers & passenger assistants, who will deliver, client “Home to School” transport in the Melksham, Trowbridge, Devizes, Chippenham, Corsham, Calne, surrounding areas.

- Be able to achieve Enhanced Disclosure through The Criminal Records Bureau’s check.
- Meet the criteria to be awarded a private hire drivers licence (drivers only).
- Have a full, clean driving licence (drivers only).
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations (drivers only).
- Be able to drive skilfully and safely (drivers only).
- Be customer focused.
- Be polite and assertive.
- Possess strong people skills that will allow you to empathise with clients, parents and carers.
- Have the ability to learn/develop new and specific skills for their job.
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety, industry regulations and issues such as disability awareness.
- Possess a good knowledge about routes and geography of the area they will cover (drivers only).
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Be responsible and reliable.
- Be willing to work as part of a team.
