**Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Zero Hours Pharmacy Delivery Driver (who must have their own vehicle ) to join our friendly pharmacy team. This role involves being responsible for delivering prescriptions safely and efficiently from our Malton, North Yorkshire, pharmacy to our patients and the care homes we service. You will be friendly, helpful, have excellent communication skills and be able to handle lifting small tote boxes of medication ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to all safety regulations.

The position is zero hours but there will usually be around 3 hours of deliveries per day so would ideally suit someone looking for a part time position

**Duties**
- Safely deliver prescription medication to patients and care homes in the Malton area.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered using our pharmdel delivery system
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road.
- Cover holidays for our other driver in our other pharmacies in York if required

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred (ideally in pharmacy)
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous.
- Pleasant and helpful nature for a positive customer experience
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- A clean valid driving licence appropriate and use of your own vehicle
