This is a fantastic HR Manager opportunity, where you can shape and own the HR function, within a people focused environment.

Due to expansion, this dynamic Cambridge based business are looking to appoint an HR Manager - this is a newly created position which offers scope, variety and autonomy

Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, this broad job role includes:

- Supporting employees and managers with sound HR advice
- Recruitment - this will likely consume a large part of the role over the next 6 months
- Provide a confidential space for employees - ensuring discussions are managed sensitively
- Responding to reactive ER & HR workload including annual leave, benefits, sickness and performance monitoring.
- Managing the induction and onboarding process
- Review HRIS and the benefits of implementation
- Actively contribute and advise the Executive Team on HR related topics
- Develop the businesses HR capabilities and new initiatives
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion

This is a standalone role, where support can be drawn on from an external legal firm if required for specialist legal advice and the business support team for some administrative tasks, although administration will form part of this role.

Strong people skills with the ability to adjust to different hiring manager styles and team needs is a must.

CIPD Level 5 or upwards would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is a permanent vacancy with the flexibility to work hours to suit the individual, along with a mix of working from the office or home. Due to the nature of the role, there would be a minimum of three days per week in the office required (if full time).
