**We have a fantastic opportunities to train as a Commercial Driver whilst earning.**

**Training will be given in the collection and delivery of palletised goods to businesses and home addresses throughout the Northeast of England.**

Good geographical knowledge of the Northeast of England is preferred, although training will be given in the role.
- Have held a car license for a minimum 2 years.
- Have a clean license.
- Have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate good customer-facing skills.

In return, we will:

- Provide tuition and mentorship from both ROSPA trained driver trainers and experienced HGV drivers on various aspects of professional goods vehicle driving.
- Enter you into a personal loan agreement with you for the cost of the training and driving test (costs are deducted weekly from your wages through the salary sacrifice scheme)
- On you successfully passing your test, you will be offered a full-time role as a CAT C commercial driver with a salary of up to £34,936/annum.

**Remuneration package**:
Overtime for all roles is payable after 50hrs in a week where 5 days are worked; 40hrs in a week where 4 days are worked, 30hrs in a week where 3 days are worked, etc.
- Earn As Your Learn Drivers are paid hourly at £11.50 per hour - all hours worked.
- Full uniform and PPE Provided.
- 20 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays, with paid breaks.

**Other benefits on completion of your Earn As You Learn training**:

- 1 x Driver CPC: Course costs, VAT and upload fees may be claimed each calendar year.
- Driver Medicals: Medicals for HGV licence renewals can be arranged and paid for by the Company or may be claimed as an expense. (Does not include initial medical for EAYL)

**Earn As You Learn Licence Upgrade**:
Upon completion of your Earn As You Learn and transfer to CAT C license, following a further 6 months of employment and a good record, the Company will pay for HGV driver training and test fees to upgrade to Cat C+E licence. Part of these fees may be reclaimed if employment ends within 12 months of the test date.
