**Social Media & Content Marketing Executive** - Job Description
**Reports to**: Marketing Director
**Job Purpose**:To manage and deliver daily activity on social media platforms and to produce engaging content to build community, encourage sales and promote the Pink Boutique brand.
**Responsibilities**:
**Social Media Management**:
- Ensure customers receive an excellent PB brand experience when visiting our social media channels. This should be a consistent brand experience but delivered across multiple platforms and content types.
- Create and build a sense of a PB community on our social channels which focuses on a wide-reaching brand outreach programme.
- Use the engagement calendar to plan out all social content which needs to be created and deliver in a timely manner. This plan needs to be approved by the marketing director in advance of scheduling.
- Use Sked tool to schedule all activity in advance. Where this isn’t possible, content may need to be posted out of hours for relevancy.
- Grow the PB members group and share our most loyal customers insights throughout the business.
- Develop weekly reports on all social content, track performance of reach, engagement, sales and referrals and incorporate learning into new content plan.
- Share insights with the marketing team on performance within social media channels, what formats are working, which posts perform well and how can we create content to suit these channels moving forward.
- Be the social media champion in the business, experimenting and research new platforms and identifying areas of opportunity for the PB brand.
**Social Content Production**:
- Be a support to creative on shoots, liaising with the creative team on what might be need, when and in what format. In some instances, you will need to produce your own social content on shoots and gather the relevant content needed.
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends. **Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal design team when necessary.**:
- Create relevant product information, competitions, news or UGC content to be posted when relevant. Edit any content needed and make it fit for each channels purpose.
- Identify and source third party content relevant to PB’s audience.
- Utilise the PB members group content and develop a cross channel plan to grown both channels.
- Plan and create live content where appropriate, BTS from shoot content posted in a timely manner.
- Ensure you work closely to the marketing calendar and produce content in a timely manner
- to ensure we land all content when needed.
- Work with buying team on identification of slow-moving stock or categories which may need additional pushes on social channels.
- Research the latest on brand styling and creative trends to ensure these are reflected in the social content produced on shoots.
- Work with Performance Marketing Manager on paid social content development. Which assets are performing well and create new content for them moving forward?
- Where required, post content outside of main working hours when required.
**Influencers & Partnerships**:
- Proactively generate ideas and forge brand collaborations with influencers, celebrities and partners that can mutually benefit the brand.
- Ensure all influencers complete and sign influencer contract for gifted or paid content. Work with them to ensure full delivery of the finished content. Ensure content is in line with PB brand guidelines and shared appropriately.
- Work with buying team on each influencer to ensure we provide the most relevant product for each influencer and ensure all product is delivered to the influencer in time for the content shoots.
- Be a PB brand advocate internally and externally, working with agencies and partners representing the brand.
**Company Responsibilities**:
- In conjunction with the marketing team, manage the GDPR process and the management of customer data, ensuring we maintain and keep up to date with any legal requirements.
- To perform any other duties typical of the post when required.
- Responsible for the tidiness of your departments, being particularly mindful of health and safety hazards and fire regulations.
- Ensure that any HR issues are reported to management including concerns relating to poor relationships in team, poor performance or any other issues like stress, health etc.
- Take responsibility for keeping any equipment in their department working and reporting any faults i.e., printers, IT issues etc.
