Wellbeing Mentor / Teaching Assistant
**Location - Monmouth**

**Contract Term - Permanent**

**Salary - £10.77+ per hour**

**Hours - Full Time (Monday - Friday)**

**The position is due to start in December**

Teaching personnel are looking for a wellbeing mentor (Teaching assistant) for a large secondary school in Monmouth. The school have decided to appoint a wellbeing hub worker that will help and assist with the wellbeing and education support for studentsthat require additional support within the school. This will be a full-time role that will have a positive impact on the school and the pupils. The school are looking for someone who is patient, resilient and caring and who wants to make a difference everyday.

**Key requirements
To be able to provide wellbeing support to vulnerable learners to help them to engage effectively with education

The ability to work well as part of a team, adopting a flexible approach as required

Excellent communication skills, including IT

**Essentials
5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes at grade C or above - preferably including English & Mathematic.

Experience of and enthusiasm for working with children in an educational context.

Good personal literacy & numeracy skills.

Good IT skills

Passionate enthusiasm for supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
