**Investment Planning Manager**

**What is the role?**

The IPM is responsible for the integration of Gatwick's capital and financial plans and will manage, maintain and support the development of 1,3, 5 and 10 year capital investment plans. The IPM is responsible for ensuring the alignment of the Capital InvestmentPlan (CIP) with Gatwick's business plan, business priorities and strategy.

**What will you do?**
- Develop and maintain 1,3, 5 and 10-year capital investment plans and the annual look-back report
- Ensure the CIP is fully integrated with S&OP assessments of demand and capacity, Gatwick's business plan, Strategic Development Plan and sustainability and Decade of Change goals.
- Ensure the CIP and its resulting impacts to revenue and Opex are embedded in Gatwick's financial budgets
- Formulate and maintain Gatwick's Strategic Development Plan
- Support the operations and commercial teams to prioritise and manage asset replacement investment, drive value through efficient and effective portfolio management and develop robust business cases
- Drive the analysis of scope, durations, interfaces, quantities, and cost between projects to optimise investment

- Strong analytical skills
- Strategic approach to portfolio management
- Track record in strategic thinking capability - seeing and exploiting synergies
- Commercial expertise to develop compelling business cases
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Understanding of regulation
- Degree in a relevant field (desirable)
- Programme management training (e.g. APMP) (desirable)
