PARCEL SORTING OPERATIVE -DHL

PART TIME - EVENINGS

CROYDON

We are recruiting Warehouse operatives for our Client DHL a worldwide logistics company to join their Croydon depot.
- Role - Parcel sorting operative
- Location
- Croydon - Beddington Lane
- Shifts - Mon - Fri
- Hours -20 hours per week 16.30pm - 20.30pm
- Pay: £11.21 per hour
- Pay after 7pm: £13.71
- Pay Saturdays: Additonal £1 per hour on top of above rates
- Pay Sundays: Additonal £2 per hour on top of above rates

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scanning - processing all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with company compliance procedures
- Manual lifting of shipments is required.
- Sorting parcels by hand into compartments on a sorting frame.
- Observing Health & Safety Rules and keeping warehouse clean.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
- The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate great team work
- Weekly pay every Friday

As this role is connected to a major UK airport applicants must be willing for Avtav to complete the following process on their behalf in line with Aviation Security Regulations.
- 5 year employment history check
- UK criminal record check
- International criminal record check if in the country for more than 6 months
- Relevant aviation security training completed in house by Avtav (not cost to applicant)

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £11.21-£14.55 per hour
