Your role as Supplier Quality Leader is to Lead, coach, support, and challenge suppliers to ensure the correct quality is met.

**Responsibilities**
- Strong team management throughout the life cycle of parts.
- Experienced in:

- Team leadership, coaching, mentoring, supporting and challenging your team within suppliers and commodity teams.
- Support the creation of quality and business strategy.
- Resource and recruitment planning and management.
- Creating development and training plans for continuous improvement of team members
- Monitor individual team member performance through regular 1x1 reviews, mid and end of year appraisals.
- Deputise for Senior Manager as required.
- Proactive top-down communication when relevant at the appropriate level.
- Support the team with supplier selection when required.
- Ensure new part introduction through APQP methods or equivalent is completed in a timely manner to meet customer and business objectives.
- Managing the team to deliver PPAP in a timely manner.
- Supplier performance monitoring to drive continuous improvement.
- Support and coach team members in problem solving activities for chronic and complex issues through structured techniques and Quality Tools.
- Support and coach team members in concern resolution across multiple suppliers to ensure robust timely closure.
- A key influencing member within commodity teams to deliver Quality.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience of leading, coaching, mentoring, supporting and challenging teams
- Knowledge of Quality management tools and techniques
- Experienced problem solver
- The ability to self-manage and work under pressure to deliver and thrive in an ever-changing and dynamic environment
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional team meetings to define clear improvement action plans and close-out in a timely manner.
- High degree of numeracy and knowledge of statistical techniques
- Member of appropriate professional body.
