Traffic Marshall

An exciting opportunity has become available for a **Traffic Marshall** to join a very busy distribution warehouse based in Dartford.

We are a well established storage and Distribution Centre of fresh produce from worldwide exporters, growers and importers, with particular expertise in delivering to the UK wholesale markets.

**The role**:
**As the Traffic Marshall for the site, you will be responsible for**:

- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety on site at all times
- Traffic management on site
- Site Security
- Meet and greet all visitors to site
- Meet and greet all drivers to site
- Follow the Bay Procedure
- Communication with the Warehouse operation (regarding movements on and off bay)
- Communication with Office (regarding visitors)
- Record vehicle details on arrival (time of arrival onto site)
- Record vehicle time on and off bay
- Record vehicle departure time (time leaves site)
- Monitor and action car parking issues
- Unlock / lock gate to staff carpark each day
- Daily meeting with Warehouse Team Leader
- Office function to include, completing Traffic Marshall paperwork
- Maintain Site hygiene standards (sweep bays, litter pick)

**Working hours**:
**Role: Traffic Marshall**
- Location: Dartford/South Darenth

**- Contract type: Ongoing (Full or Part time)**
- Days of work: Sunday to Friday (different Shift patterns available for full and
part time work), **Saturdays off.**

**- Hours; 7am-10pm split on two shifts / flexible hours**

**- Pay rate: £11.44 per hour plus overtime**
- Payment every 4 weeks

**- Due to location own transport is required**
