**Job Description**:
**Senior Finance Manager/Office Administrator**

**Full Time: Permanent**

**Salary: £26k to £30k, depending on experience**

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established steel manufacturer has arisen. We are currently looking for an experienced Finance person to join our team. The key purpose of this role is to complete the Accounts for the business and to also provide administrative support to the senior management team. To be successful you will have experience in a similar finance/accounts based role but also enjoy the flexibility this position offers.
- Input invoices- Allocate cash- Maintain client records and the existing filing system- Raise purchase orders.- Reconcile bank accounts.- Monitor bank balances- Compile VAT quarterly returns, month end reports, action payroll and manage petty cash.**On the administration side you will be required to**:
Provide clerical support to the General Manager and the Technical Manager.
Provide admin support to the General Manager regarding recruitment and health and safety. General support organising travel plans, flights and accommodation for the managers if required.

**A little bit about you**:

- Have experience of working in an accounts department.- Be competent using packages such as Excel, Word and Sage (Essential)- Have a flexible attitude and work ethic.- Have an outgoing nature and strong interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a small friendly, professional team.- Have excellent organisational skills.- Be driven by new challenges.- Have to good attention to detail.Full time hours
Monday to Friday 08.30 am to 17.00 pm
