IT Technician

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic IT Specialist looking for a new opportunity? Our freight forwarding client is currently seeking an IT Technician to join their expanding team to diagnose, repair and maintain both hardware and software componentsto ensure the smooth running of their computer systems.
As the IT Technician, you will:

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and by phone
- Work with team members to diagnose both complex and routine computer issues
- Conduct scheduled backup operations and managing the company’s firewalls
- Install software and hardware systems, including new equipment, anti-virus programs, CRM programs and other tools used by the company’s offsite employees.
- Act quickly in crisis situations so our client can resume normal operations as soon as possible
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and placing orders

The successful IT Technician will need to be:

- A quick learner who will adapt swiftly to using our client’s bespoke software package
- Excellent at problem solving and have a high attention to detail
- A strong communicator both written and verbal
- Aware of the importance of confidentiality - ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

This is a full-time position with working hours from 08:30-17:00 Mon-Fri and has many great benefits
