The role will report to the Group Financial Controller and oversee a team of 5. The key purpose of this position is to ensure the management teams have the required information on which to make effective decisions through the delivery of accurate financialinformation.

**The role**:

- Managing a team of Accountants to ensure revenue and costs are calculated accurately and posted to the P&L Account
- Take ownership of the central and regional cost centre P&L accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Assisting the FP&A team in the preparation of the annual budget for the Group, ensuring that individual centres have the necessary information for budget management.
- Take a lead of the preparation of the annual budgets.
- Management of daily financial operations within the Group including payroll, invoicing, Accounts Payable.
- Have regular dialogue with central budget holders and feedback on performance against budgets.
- Supporting the year-end audit process by liaising with the auditors and providing the required information related to the profit and loss account.
- Support with the managing of the VAT return commitments

**To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials**:

- A fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Demonstrable experience of managing or mentoring a team
- Strong leaderships skills
- Good analytical skills, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of financial management software
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise effectively

**Salary & Working Hours
- Salary is £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus
- Full Time - Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm
- Flexible working/hybrid working
