**Hours**: 40 hours - full time, permanent - Monday to Friday - on site
Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a hands-on Finance Officer who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a friendly, fast-paced environment.
**About the Role**
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid finance experience who’s ready to take the next step. You’ll help manage the day-to-day finance operations, support month-end reporting, and play an important part in keeping everything running smoothly.
You’ll also supervise one Finance Assistant and work closely with our senior management team to make sure our financial information is accurate, timely, and useful.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for review.
- Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts and working with auditors.
- Overseeing purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
- Monitoring stock movements and product costing within the manufacturing process.
- Reviewing and improving day-to-day financial processes and controls.
- Supervising and supporting a Finance Assistant in their daily work.
**What We’re Looking For**
- AAT qualified or working towards a professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA).
- Previous experience in a finance role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
- Good knowledge of management accounts and general accounting processes.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Sage 200).
- Great attention to detail and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
