Laboratory Assistant

We are looking for a Casual Laboratory Assistant to support our team in the day to day running of the business. Are you an aspiring Lab Assistant looking for an opportunity to advance your career?

We are looking for a responsible person to organize and manage sampling, testing, measuring, and analysing in cooperation with the rest of our laboratory team.

**Skills and qualities**:An interest in Food science or experience in a catering industry would be an advantage, along with previous lab experience, but it is not essential as full training will be given.

- A mature outlook and attitude are necessary.
- You will need to be neat,
- Accurate and methodical
- Able to perform well under pressure.

**Job description**: You will be part of a busy laboratory team, testing food, water and swab samples to UKAS, M&S and Tesco microbiological standards. Duties will also include cleaning and tidying the lab, preparing samples for testing, and assisting Team Leaders and Supervisors in daily tasks.
