**Job title: Home Sales Consultant**
**Reports to**: Furnishing Floor Manager
Closs & Hamblin are seeking a Full or Part Time Home Sales Consultant to join their team in Canterbury and work closely with the store sales team.
The main purpose of the role: To support customers on the design process of new home furnishing by visiting them in their homes from leads generated mainly by the sales floor.
- Basic Salary on £11.00 plus 1.5% commission on all sales won (circa £6-8000 commission per annum)
- 2-5 full days per week

We specialise in a wide range of Home Furnishings products; bespoke and ready-made Curtains, Blinds, Shutters, Tracks and Poles.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Review Lead Sheets in store and prepare for all calls
- Estimate in the home whenever possible and convert the lead to order
- Be aware of new ranges/sales/promotions. Ensure that price lists and samples are up to date.
- Provide all relevant samples, books and prices required for each visit
- Agree specifications and window treatment/style etc
- Discuss possible budget, timetable and check measurement, track fitting
- Provide value estimate in the home whenever possible
- Fill in all relevant boxes on the measurement chart and sketches where necessary.
- Secure the order by taking a 50% deposit. Provide the customer with a written receipt
- Telephone follow-up within 7 days unless the customer has accepted the order
- Help train and pass on ideas to sales floor
- Assist Floor Manager with displays/room sets and promotion of home selling service.
- Work on the sales floor when not on calls or preparing quotes
- Actively seek new leads, chase old leads and re-quote wherever possible.
**Skills and Experience needed to be the successful Home Sales Consultant**:
- Experience and knowledge within home furnishing, curtains and blinds
- Work well within the team
- Excellent product knowledge
- Enthusiasm and interest in the role.
- Presentable and punctual
- Excellent communication with customers and colleagues
- Full UK driving licence
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5-37.5 per week
**Salary**: £21,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
