Well funded, entrepreneurial and highly acquisitive client is looking to hire

two ambitious high calibre finance professionals who enjoy building solid relationships and adding significant commercial and shareholder value.

The client has an existing portfolio of 34 companies and have ambitious plans to add 5-6 new businesses to the group next year. They have an impressive in-house m & a function and are looking to attract new talent with the aspiration to become a Financeor Investment Director in the future.

This is a rather unique, fulfilling and challenging role where no day is ever the same. Excellent time management and the ability to plan and work autonomously are a must

Key duties include:

- Act as a highly valued trusted advisor to the group and the client portfolio.
- Attend and contribute to initial onboarding meetings to understand work completed pre deal around the details of the newly acquired business and it’s operations.
- Leading meetings with finance teams of new acquisition and developing key staff members to ensure they can competently complete group deliverables.
- Review of monthly MI packs and future forecasts.
- Review of cashflows and working capital forecasts.
- Assist with budget & forecast completion.
- Regular meetings with non executive directors to review businesses within portfolio.
- Perform sensitivity reviews and risk analysis and flag up early warning signs.
- Monitor finance facilities.
- Scenario analysis for material decisions that are being discussed within a business.
- Deep dive financial reviews.

You will possess a high level of commercial acumen, strong project accounting skills and enjoy solving problems.
