**Job Title**: Assistant Psychologist
**Accountable to**: Lead Clinical Psychologist
**Salary**: £25,000
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Psychologist to join our Clinical Team.
We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist with exceptional communication skills and a passion for therapeutic childrens care. You will work under the supervision of our Lead Clinical Psychologist to provide support to our clinical team and the children in our care.

**What will you be doing?**
- The purpose of the role is to support the multi-disciplinary clinical team which is currently made up of Clinical Lead, Clinical Psychologist, Play Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, SALT Assistant and Art Therapists.
- Assisting with formulation meetings and appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings; and disseminate relevant information about the child.
- Preparing and administering assessments for suspected cognitive difficulties, Autism Spectrum Conditions and ADHD.
- Undertaking protocol based psychometric assessments as directed by our Clinical Psychologist.
- Producing and reviewing reports for the childrens professional networks.
- Working directly with external specialists and professionals involved with the children as required.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of service development projects where required.
- Working with Education staff to provide the best outcomes for the children.
- Undertaking relevant research, audits and administrative duties as required.
**What will you need?**
- 2:1 or above in a BPS accredited Psychology degree.
- IT skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a dedicated team.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Experience working with children
- A genuine desire to produce the best outcome for the children in our care.
- Driving license and access to a car.
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
