Purchase Ledger Clerk - Telford - Permanent

L & C Consulting are now recruiting with a well-established and respected, Telford based concern for a new Purchase Ledger Clerk. This permanent position will suit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant wanting to work in a supportive and rewarding environment and is looking for extra responsibility as the role develops here.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

- Oversee the Purchase Ledger function
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Supplier payments and reporting
- Query resolution
- Bank reconciliation
- Manage cash flow
- Identity and prepare month end accounts
- Other ad hoc duties as requested

To be considered for this excellent position, you must have worked in a similar Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant role previously, be happy working in a small team environment, be IT literate (SAP, Ms Office and in particular Ms Excel), have excellent communication skills and ideally be available at short notice.

You will ideally be AAT or equivalent qualified.

Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00.

The site is commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Newport, Walsall, Stafford etc but own transport is essential.
