Join a Southwest baseed consultancy that is looking to welcome a transformation workstream Delivery Lead (Data) to their growing team.

The role:
Leading the data workstream within a large-scale, 5-year, organisation wide transformation programme, you will be responsible for a large team of around 40 individuals, made up of internal and external suppliers. You will oversee 4 teams that are all focusing on different areas, such as Data Architecture and Modelling, APIs and Data Access Layer Services, Data Governance Tooling and Capability and Data Migration.

You will continually maintain plans and schedules for delivery, identifying risks and obstacles and overcoming them. You will also write the status update reports and present these at governance forums and boards - you should be a clear and confident communicator, comfortable with regularly presenting to senior stakeholders

Stakeholder management is going to be key You will manage stakeholders at all levels, both inside and outside of the programme, ensuring they are all clear on plans and progress against said plans.

About you:

- Significant experience of project delivery in complex environments using agile and traditional delivery approaches
- Experience of working within transformation programmes in the public sector (preferable)
- Experience of mobilising project and delivery teams from scratch, designing delivery approaches utilising the best tools appropriate for the delivery context
- Experience of reviewing projects in flight, identifying improvements and implementing improvements to streamline and improve delivery effectiveness
- Able to take technical concepts and explain them to non-technical resources - bridging the gap between clients and developers
- Experience of managing third party suppliers in a project environment
- Experience of working in a scaled agile environment
- Experience of meshing agile delivery within traditional governance structures
