A vacancy has have arisen at our Gowanlea home in Stirling for a (Bank) Care Assistant working both day and late shifts.
In this role you will work on a flexibly covering shifts as required (Day and Night shifts available) including a share of weekends. As a key member of the care team, you'll be expected to put residents first, always going the extra mile to make sure they receive care in a safe and dignified way. You'll lead by example, supporting and inspiring other team members to deliver individual care to each resident. Relationships are key and you’ll communicate not only with our residents and colleagues, but also with families and health care professionals as required. The role varies from housekeeping duties to having a friendly smile, a steadying hand, and a sharing cup of tea. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you'll use your initiative and talent to contribute to the success of our home.
We are looking for:
- An enthusiastic, ‘can do’ attitude.
- An ability to build good working relationships with residents, colleagues and other key people.
- A kind, compassionate approach and a desire to make a positive difference.
We would prefer:
- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social
- Relevant experience gained in a similar role.
**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
Pay: From £11.72 per hour
