You’ll work with a wide range of audiences including early years, schools, young people, adults, families, and groups with additional needs. You’ll assist with the development of new sessions through sourcing of suitable resources and adapting content to meet the needs of different audiences. What you’ll achieve
- Programmes and activities will be delivered to agreed schedule and quality.
- Programmes and activities will be well-structured and engage a wide range of audiences.
- Resources are organised and used effectively ensuring optimum value is achieved.
- The programme is evaluated and improvements are identified and implemented.

- Deliver public programmes for all audiences through workshop sessions, targeted work with specific audiences and facilitation of major events.
- Work with the team to deliver bilingual, accessible, inclusive and culturally sensitive programmes.
- Work with the team to monitor and evaluate programmes and make adaptations as necessary.
- Assist with departmental administration when necessary.
- Work within the framework of current learning theory and practice.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of services.

- Knowledge of good practice in museum/gallery education.
- Awareness of the National Curriculum for Wales and other statutory education requirements and initiatives.
- Knowledge and understanding of the need to adapt programmes and sessions according to the audience.
- A degree in a relevant discipline (Art, Science or Education) or equivalent would be beneficial. The experience you’ll need
- Experience of facilitating to audiences, whether paid or voluntary, in a museum, gallery or educational setting. The skills you’ll need
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to address and engage a range of users in both Welsh and English.
- Excellent organisational skills including demonstrable ability to plan and deliver work programme as well as managing groups/sessions.
