ob Opportunity - **SEND Leader**

Pershore Riverside centre are recruiting an _experienced_ individual who can lead our **Saturday Social Club**. A youth club tailored for young people ages 16 - 18 with additional needs. The club’s mission and aim is to support attendees with life skills, support, and access to mainstream opportunities in society during their later adolescence.

Our ethos is to be forward thinking, caring, and encouraging whilst providing a structured, supportive and non-judgmental environment, allowing all our young people to thrive and achieve their full potential.

**General Duties**:

- To manage a team of youth workers, volunteers, and Junior volunteers.
- Planning and preparing activities to captivate attendees.
- Designing various youth sessions that focus on further educational opportunities - this may include volunteering, placements, and support with identifying appropriate higher education. This will need to include working with surrounding supporting agencies.
- To ensure appropriate policies and procedures are followed for the safety and wellbeing of attendees.
- To liaise with the Youth Manager setting goals and targets to ensure we are providing the best possible service.
- Appropriately recording and reporting outcomes.
- Managing online promotion and bookings for attendees.
- Manage the welfare of a team and identify appropriate, regular, training.
