Technical Team Leader (Cyber Security Training Provided)

Cambridge (3-4 days a week in the office)

The role

Training: Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and threats in the field of cyber security. We will send you on courses to make sure you are fully prepared for the technical requirements of this role.

Planning: You will work as part of the Security team to create proposals and costed security solutions for our clients.

Solutions: You will use your IT knowledge to research security products and solutions for our clients’ projects.

Strategy: Develop security strategies to increase the security posture of Bridge Partners and our clients.

Delivery: You will deliver our IT security projects ensuring a high quality of work for a fully implemented solution.

Mentoring: Act as a mentor and provide training to junior team members.

What we need from you
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT support.
- Good knowledge of Information Security principles, tools, processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and solutions (Microsoft Server OS, Office 365, Active Directory, Storage Solutions, Networking).
- Be organised with a track record of delivering quality IT solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards technical and managerial challenges.
- Previous experience in a team leader position as line manager, coach and influencer to junior team members would be an advantage.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices.
