An exciting opportunity is available for a Procurement Manager to join a multinational manufacturer of building materials with more than 150 years of industry experience. With a presence throughout Europe and influence in parts of Asia and Africa, this isa fantastic opportunity for those looking to join a well-established organisation.
The organisation is looking for an individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment and someone who can drive the procurement function forward. You will have the chance to be involved in a large transformation project which will include liaising with differentteams across Europe. With a large number of suppliers to manage, you will be the primary point of contact and reference of procurement for the UK side of the business.
**Key responsibilities as a Procurement Manager include**:
- Establishing and executing procurement activities to drive performance (cost, delivery, Services, top line growth, lean, compliance), negotiations and contract management
- Supporting local deployment of procurement strategies impacting the business in UK
- Monitoring suppliers' quality and service through KPI's and regular business review
- Deploying quality audits program in cooperation with Quality and Industrial department
- Coordinate and lead data management jointly with stakeholders
**Skills and experience needed for this Procurement Manager role**:
- Have experience in direct materials procurement
- Have previous experience working in a multinational organisation
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships
