**About the role**
- To provide a first-class service to all The Society's mortgage customers by providing a resolution to their borrowing needs and ensuring that all service standards are achieved.
- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Based at our Head Office, IP3 9SJ. Hybrid working available upon successful completion of probationary period.

**Your day-to-day activities**
- Supporting the Mortgage Advisers with pre-qualifying new customer enquiries and assisting with initial assessments, enquiries and calls.
- Supporting the Mortgage Sales Supervisor and Retentions Officer in delivering the timely, accurate and efficient administration of the Society’s mortgage maturity process.
- Ensuring all account and product changes as part of the Society’s mortgage maturity process and other product switches and contract variations are processed accurately and within the required timescales.

**About you**

As a Mortgage Consultant, you will have:

- A minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at Grades A-C or equivalent.
- Have a good understanding of customer service principles.
- CeMap Qualified (or willingness to study)
- Be an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude.
- Have demonstratable organisational, problem solving and team working skills.
