Based on the outskirts of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, our client is an exciting, market leading business who have a strong presence in their market and are looking for a part qualified accountant to join their team as Finance Analyst on a permanent basis.

This job would suit an ACCA/ACA/CIMA part-qualified/finalist with a minimum of two years related work in the financial environment required.

The successful individual will have excellent attention to detail with outstanding analytical skills. Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to work to tight timescales are essential for this role. You will be able to work in afast-paced environment with the ability to work under your own initiative with mínimal supervision. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential. A knowledge and understanding of financial statements (balance sheet and profit & loss) will be necessary.

Job responsibilities:

- To record, prepare and forward retail credit transactions for approval or disapproval within established credit authority, liaising closely with sales personnel to do so.
- Coordinating and communicating Credit Department decisions/information needs to relevant sales personnel.
- To maintain and update the data storage of customer credit records.
- To participate in evaluating the portfolio quality of customers and their ongoing financial stability.
- To maintain necessary information to monitor transaction volume and portfolio quality while providing a high level of customer service.
- To monitor the audit processes relating to dealers and customers within procedural guidelines; assist in completion in the field as and when necessary.
- To undertake special projects as assigned.
